fter gaining advanced degrees in education, teaching in public schools, raising three children, and working in private industry, I became determined to complete a doctoral program in clinical psychology. I chose the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology because of the school's high standards and focus on the clinical aspects of psychotherapy.

he academic program, internships, and post doctoral experiences have provided opportunities to work in community mental health, a homeless shelter for adolescents, a domestic abuse center, a walk-in counseling center, and a university college counseling center.
